Official Links Policy
ukwaterparks.org/ aims to point visitors toward official venue sources whenever possible. Official links are important because water park information can involve booking, payment, safety, age restrictions, weather closures, accessibility arrangements, and visitor rules.
What we treat as official
- The water park’s own website.
- A leisure centre, resort, local council, or operator page that clearly controls the venue.
- A booking page linked directly from the official venue website.
- A public safety or visitor information page published by the venue/operator.
- An official map or location page linked by the venue, where available.
How we present links
When possible, we explain what the link is useful for: booking, opening times, contact, map, accessibility, safety rules, FAQs, or prices. We avoid using vague link text when a practical label is more helpful.
If a venue uses a third-party booking system, we try to make it clear that users should confirm the booking page is linked from the official venue source.
Link checking and monitoring
Important official links are manually checked during research or update work. We may also update links when a reader reports a problem or when a venue changes its website. If a link becomes unreliable or cannot be verified, we may remove it or add caution wording.
